On an oversized hand sculpture at Frankfurt Airport, Samsung presents its latest phone. The sculpture at the approach to Terminal 2 was developed with the American architect, artist and designer Jan Lorenc; together with Cheil Communications and Media Frankfurt, the Outform team realised the art and marketing project.
The global campaign’s motto: “The World in Your Hand”. The “Rising Hand” of polished aluminium with red acrylic is 15.2 m tall and weighs 27 tonnes. It is part of an international art project with 22 hand sculptures at airports in 20 countries – Frankfurt was the first location.
